Ms. Patti and Ms. Meg's M-Th Knoch Knolls Pre-K

November has begun and our Pre-K class couldn’t be more excited to see the changes outside.

The Pre-K class has been working on the letters H and N.  In Art we loved to make our shape houses and to paint with sticky cooked noodles.

Our favorite activity was making nests with mud and nature finds we collected on one of our nature walks.

In Language Arts, we are working on writing our names as we “sign in” when we come to class. We also created wonderful Thank you notes to the fireman that visited our class.  Our journals are getting fuller  we made a letter H with hearts and stamped numbers on a letter N.

In Math and science, we worked on numbers as we discovered how many marshmallows it took to make a structure. (We tasted a few too!)  We saw the property of sink and float as we put a pumpkin into the river to see what would happen.  We watched it float away to become a tasty treat for some lucky animals.

We had a super special day when our local firemen brought the fire truck and talked to us about fire safety.  We learned about stop, drop, and roll, The kids did great!

Our class is learning and growing every day. We have so many new things to explore and we are looking forward to it every day.
