Mrs. Melby

My name is Rose Melby and I will be teaching the Pre K class at the RCC with Marybeth Boyle.  This will be my eleventh year teaching preschool with the Naperville Park District.  Throughout my time here I have taught every age group including various specialty classes.  In the most recent years, I have primarily taught Pre K and 4’s.  I really enjoy working with children of all ages but most especially the 4’s and 5’s.  I love to watch their curiosity at work while they explore new ideas and concepts.  That is why I am so excited to be a partner in their educational voyage.

I live in Naperville with my husband of  26 years Dave and my two daughters,  Alexandra (20) and Gabriella (17).  My oldest daughter Juliana (23) lives downtown and is a graphic designer;  I just brought my middle daughter Alexandra to begin her junior year at Saint Louis University while my youngest daughter Gabriella is a senior at Naperville Central High School.  My children have all attended school in the Naperville area and have had a great experience.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone and being a part of your child’s successful experience as well.

My name is Marybeth Boyle and I will be teaching Pre K at the RCC with Rose Melby.   This is my fifth-year teaching preschool at the Naperville Park District.  I have been around children my entire life.   I am the 13th of 15 children in my family and have 87 nieces and nephews, 41 great nieces and nephews and 2 more on the way.  I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it be a simple family dinner, completing a puzzle and/or playing a friendly board game.  I enjoy watching sports and my favorite 2 teams are the Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks.

 

I live in Naperville with my husband, Jack, Sr. of 25 years. We have 2 grown children. Our son, Jack, Jr., is 25 and is an Elmhurst University alumni and currently works in the financial business.  Our daughter, Brigette, is 24 and is a University of Illinois alumni.  She is currently finishing her masters at University of Iowa in Health Administration. We also have a 15 1/2-year-old dog named Bailey.  I am looking forward to the start of a great new school year and so excited to be teaching your child this year.
