We are so excited to be back at school where
we can explore, laugh, and play
Applying our sense of sight, touch, and smell to explore the snow
Enjoying a color mixing experiment with
snow and food coloring while working on eye-hand
coordination and fine motor skills. At the end of the day the children
used scientific thinking and language skills to predict what would happen
to the snow in the tins if it was left in our room overnight.
Observing the results of our experiment.
Were our predictions correct?
"Snow" much fun painting at the easel!
Using our imagination and fine motor skills to
create structures while exploring magnets
Employing memory recall and letter recognition
to match uppercase and lowercase letters
Creating AB patterns using beads and pipe cleaners
Celebrating the joys of friendship by making
special Valentines for our classmates
After reading the book, Gilberto and the Wind, the
children used their imaginations and creativity to construct
their very own boats
Having good control of the muscles in our arms and hands to
mimic a "gentle wind" and a "gust of wind" by moving
the pans to spread paint. The color mixing was so much fun to watch.
Is that a gust of wind pushing the balloons above our heads?
Thank you so much for visiting the blog, we hope you enjoyed learning about some of the
activities the children have been exploring within the classroom. Thank you for sharing your amazing children with us. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
